Members of Brookline Fire Company accepted 100 smoke detectors from 6 ABC’s Operation Save a Life on January 4, 2007. The free detectors were sponsored by Kidde, Toyota, Independence Blue Cross and Geico.
6ABC’s Karen Rogers and Cecily Tynan presented the detectors at the Philadelphia Fire Academy to Chief Engineer Dave Donnelly and Engineer Tony Corbino.
Brookline Fire Company will install the smoke detectors free of charge to our residents. We also offer free batteries for your existing smoke detectors through Energizer Battery’s Change your clock, change your battery program.
Please call 610-449-4567 to participate in this program.
